FAITH FORMATION & SACRAMENT PREPARATION
St. Monica's faith formation and first communion preparation meets from 8:45am-11:15am. Kindergarten through eighth graders meet in the Church with their families at 8:45am for Mass Preparation, followed by the 9am Mass. After Mass classes take place in the school from 10:00am-11:15am.
St. Lucy's faith formation (Kindergarten - Eighth Grade) and first communion preparation program has been combined with St. Monica's program. Meetings will take place at St. Monica's Church beginning on Sept 17th. See below for a complete schedule.
CONFIRMATION
We have a combined Confirmation 1 & 2 Program, which meets at St. Lucy's Church Campus (254 Merrimack St). Meetings begin with 10:30am Mass followed by classes in the lower church hall and "schoolhouse" from 11:30am-12:45pm. Students who attend Catholic High School for their freshman year are not required to register until Year 2 (sophomore year). In addition to Sunday mass and classes, students are required to participate in a day-long retreat each year of the program, 2 Parish-cenetered service events (1 for each year), and the ministries at the 10:30am masses at St. Lucy's. Finally, students are invited to participate optional monthly youth events.
Families are asked to re-register their students for each year of the two-year program. The Conferral of the Sacrament of Confirmation takes place in the spring of the second year.
HOME TEACHING
Families may choose the home-teaching option for non-sacrament years.
COST
Kindergarten through 8th Grade is $100/student. Confirmation Preparation is $150/student per year. There is a $250 family cap.
