RISE | COMMUNITY (Lifelong Faith Formation)
Our Lifelong Faith Formation Program is called RISE | Community. It is for all ages (four year olds to ninety-nine). We get together after Mass one Sunday each month (once at each parish location) for refreshments, fellowship, a presentation and discussion (adults) or classes (youth). It is required for Confirmation and First Communion students.
WHAT IS IT? RISE invites parishioners of all ages to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ through fellowship and learning. We'll gather for a refreshments, fellowship, and a presentation and discussion (adults), or classes (youth).
WHO IS IT FOR? Parishioners and guests of all ages. Families with children in Sacrament Preparation (Confirmation or First Holy Communion) are required to participate in RISE | Community in addition to the separate sacrament preparation classes. We also encourage adultsIt is required for families with students in First Communion and Confirmation, and highly encouraged for those individuals and families in our OCIA, OCIC, Baptism Preparation, and Adult Confirmation Programs.
WHEN IS IT? Each month there will be two opportunities to participate, once on Sunday Mornings at St. Lucy's following the 10:30am Mass (11:30am-1:30pm), September to April. Sunday Mornings at St. Monica's following the 9:00am Mass (10:00am-12:00pm).
